Meet The RugBurnZ – the sonic equivalent of a trampoline accident—loud, unpredictable, and weirdly addictive. Hailing from the cracked sidewalks of suburban sprawl, this four-piece modern is a chaotic, glitter-splattered punk rock band fusing Green Day grit with Panic! at the Disco flair. With explosive shows, bratty hooks, and theatrical swagger, they’re redefining modern punk for the TikTok era. Their debut EP “Carpet Rash Romance” is a sonic slap of angst, glitter, and guitar fuzz.

Formed in a garage that doubled as a haunted doll museum, The RugBurnZ are equal parts rebellion and razzle-dazzle. Their songs bounce between anthemic singalongs, guitar-laced breakdowns, and lyrical sucker punches about love, paranoia, and snack food existentialism.

THE BAND

Lakey (Lead Vocals)

Towering at 6’4” with a voice that flips from sneer to falsetto in a heartbeat, Lakey is the band’s magnetic frontman and lyrical firestarter. A former theater kid turned punk poet, he’s known for his wild stage antics—think glitter bombs, fake blood, and the occasional interpretive dance in a dog costume. Lakey writes most of the band’s lyrics, channeling heartbreak, absurdity, and cosmic dread into every hook.

Jett (Lead Guitar)

Jett is the riff architect and chaos engineer of the group. With a pedalboard that looks like a spaceship control panel, he fuses crunchy power chords with unexpected flourishes—surf licks, disco stabs, even the occasional kazoo solo. Offstage, he’s the quiet one, but onstage, he’s a blur of hair, distortion, and perfectly timed jumps.

Mox (Bass)

Mox holds down the low end with a smirk and a snarl. His basslines are deceptively simple—groovy, punchy, and always a little off-kilter. He’s the band’s unofficial stylist, known for his thrifted glam-punk looks and DIY glitter warpaint. Mox’s also the band’s moral compass, often the one to say, “Maybe we don’t light the drum kit on fire tonight.”

Rizz (Drums)

Rizz is the heartbeat and the chaos engine. A former marching band dropout with a love for vintage horror movies and energy drinks, he plays like he’s trying to summon a demon through percussion. His kit is covered in stickers, duct tape, and the occasional half-eaten granola bar. Rizz’s fills are fast, furious, and frequently off-script—but somehow, it always works
