Hailing from the sun-drenched canyons and coastal highways of Southern California, Starlight emerged as a beacon of easy listening and soft rock in the mid-1970s. Their sound, a seamless blend of mellow harmonies and intricate instrumentation, perfectly captured the golden-hued, laid-back vibe of their home state. The band’s formation was a serendipitous meeting of six kindred spirits, each bringing their unique talents and experiences to the collective.

At the heart of Starlight is Ethan Miller, the band’s charismatic lead vocalist and guitarist. His soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics are the emotional core of the band, often drawing from his own experiences navigating the highs and lows of life in Los Angeles.

Oliver Reynolds, the rhythm guitarist, provides the steady, melodic foundation for their songs, her gentle strumming a constant presence.

The band’s fiery spirit, Julian “Jules” Carter, is the lead guitarist. His soaring solos and intricate licks are a signature element of Starlight’s sound, echoing the vast, open landscapes of the California desert.
